Conditional Formatting - copy format of a cell

I have a list of names in tab1 (in a pivot table based on tab2) that i have been color coding manually. On the second tab i have the same list of names in a data table. I want to copy the color formatting over to this tab.

EX:
Cell A1 contains "Matt" and I have highlighted it red, cell A2 contains "george" and it is highlighted green.
I want every time "Matt" appears in the data table on tab2 to be red and every time "george" appears in the data table on tab2 to be green.

There are no dupilcates because they're full names (e.g. Plant, Bob Robert)

CF cannot be used to say, "Make this cell's format look like that cell's format." This can be done with macros, although for an actual solution we need your file.
