    Extracting data from 2 x tables using set criteria

    Good afternoon,
    I am looking for a formula that will sum up figures from two different Tables based on the week numbers specified.

    In example 1, I have specified a start week of 6 and an end week of 17.
    Table 1 has Sales data for weeks 6 to 10 = 141
    Table 2 has a forecast value for weeks 11 to 17 = 243
    The output I require is 141+243 = 384

    In Example 2, I have specified a start week of 6 and an end week of 17.
    Table 1 has Sales data for weeks 6 to 13 = 207
    Table 2 has a forecast value for weeks 14 to 17 = 118
    The output I require is 207+118 = 325

    Many thanks
    Phil

    Re: Extracting data from 2 x tables using set criteria

    Whilst there is an indication that the data to sum in column C starts at week number 6 (C28) and goes onto week 17 (C29) there is nothing to indicate that column F starts at week 11 therefore if you put data in F6:F10 this will not work but this gives you the answer you need.

    =SUMPRODUCT((B5:B25>=C28)*(B5:B25<=C29)*(C5:C25))+SUMPRODUCT((B5:B25>=C28)*(B5:B25<=C29)*(F5:F25))

    You should be able to adjust the row numbers for example 2 yourself.

    Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.
