I need an if formula

I need a formula that will look at cell H7, and give me a total depending on what is in that cell. There are four possibilities. H7 will either say "first, Second, Thirs, or Fourth." If it is first , I would like H8 to show a value of 3. If H7 says Third, then I would like H8 to show a value of 2. If H7 shows Thirs, I would like to have H8 show a value of 1. and finally, if H7 shows Fourth, I would like H8 to show a value of 0.
