Hi,
is it possible to link 2 sheets in the following way.
Link a value/text in column b in sheet 1 to a value/text in column p in sheet 2 and give the value of column i on sheet 2 when there is a match.
Thanks,
Adam

welcome to the forum, adam. it sounds a lot like a INDEX + MATCH. try:
=INDEX(Sheet2!I:I,MATCH(B2,Sheet2!P:P,0))

Hi Ben,
Thank you for you help. the formula is exactly what i needed. I also added the isna function into it to remove any NA. I would like to take this one step further again. I have created a new thread for this. If you get the chance to have a look at it it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again for the help so far. I have added reputation as it was well deserved.
Regards,
Adam
