Menu inside menu

Hello

First of all. Sorry if this is badly explained. English is not my first language.

I have searched and havent found a solution yet so I hope you can help me out here!

I am working on a larger database for the body muscles.
I want to be able to extract certain cells to a new sheet.
But i want the dropdown list to sort further than one category.

Example.

Category 1: Legs
Category 2: Arms

Undercatergory for legs 1: flexion
Und... 2: extension
Und... 3: outwards rotation

Under.. undercategory 1 : e.g.1
Und.. 2: e.g. 2


Is it possible to have 1 cell menu.

Press Legs, then flexion and next choose e.g. 1?

Or do i have to make 3 cells linked together like: menu; undercategory; under undercategory?

Hi Hols and welcome to the forum,

The topic is called Cascading Dropdowns or Dependent Drop down lists in Excel. There are very hard methods to do this using VBA and Userforms that I don't think you want yet. Read:
