    Norm.Dist not working

    Hi everyone,

I'm attaching over a sheet. I'm trying to build a distribution curve using Norm.Dist formula which also uses the Average and Standard Deviation.
Everytime I plot it, I'm not getting a normal distribution. Can someone please help me with this formula?

Also, is there a way to link the chart selection data to the slicer that I have created which ties to the data?

    Please let me know!

    Thanks

If you remove the lines from the chart, the distribution looks much more sensible.

I don't understand how that helps? It doesn't change the data points

    Hi,

Can you clarify exactly what you expect to see. The SD you've calculated of ,0018 is indeed correct. You can check it from first principles by squaring all the differences between the Mean (0.5) and the column L values, then taking the square root of the sum of all those deviations from the mean.

If you change the chart type to the first of the xy scatter charts (without lines or markers) I think you'll see the curve you're looking for.

Correct, but it does remove the clutter of connecting lines and markers.
