I have a simple Excel spreadsheet with a basic multiplication equation in one column, and I'm trying to have the resulting product (rounded to an integer) used in the 3rd column as part of abasic division problem.
Column A - An integer
Column B - Multiplication with product showing as an integer as it's a number cell with no decimal
No matter how I've tried setting up the formula in column C using the results of column B, it always just gives me 17% (the .17 part of the formula in column B). It doe
I can manually type each cell for column C based on the rounded to an integer result of column B, ie., =3/15, but I want to fill numerous cells automatically using a formula based on as little user input as possible...if possible. No matter what I try, the results in C always show up as .17, completely blowing my mind.
Column A Column B Column C
15 =15*.17 =B/A
No matter what, Column C gives me .17, or 17% since I have it set for a percentage.
Thanks much for any assistance! Michael
