    IF new high (extra variable)

    Another complicated query coming up!

I'm looking to apply a secondary condition to the formula in WL4.

The perfect result of this is "Real E" in WM4

Real E = The condition in WL4 is met, & a new high hasn't been formed

i.e. (in the example below) because a new high was formed (1 place above), & WI3 hasn't been "touched", "Real E" moves up 1 place

I know I haven't explained that too well!! So if you need clarification on anything please lemmi know!

    No idea - sorry.

Please explain (in WORDS) the condition that you wish to add to the formula. You will also need to explain what the formula is doing currently.

At the moment all you have given us is a workbook with (apparently) random data and a very flimsy outline of what you want.

Re: IF new high (extra variable)

This might not clear it up either, but I think the best way to describe it is with the diagrams below, (It is confusing!)

Basically, my current formulas are looking for the value (B4:KO4) 2 places below the "first turn" on the graph/KV4:WH4 (inside the calculation range defined in KR4) (3.00 @ position 136 is two places below the 1st turn - this is reflected in the formula in WL4)

    However

If a new high is formed (before the graph has reached two places below the first turn), I need the formula to recognize this, & take the value two places below the turn of the new high (therefore 3.05 @ position 159). I'm jsut not quite sure how to make this addition
