    I would like a formula to calculate how many days cover i have in stock

    Please can I have some help with a formula to calculate how many days cover that I have in stock

    I have attached a file to show the data - in the yellow square I would like to display how many days cover that I have in stock.

    Closing being the stock and the green numbers are the daily forecast.

    The result would be around 1.5 as you have the forecast covered for the 10th and approximately half of the 11th.

    See attached with suggested table (as a more typical way of doing Stock Control)

    Closing Stock:

    =D8+E8-F8

    Days cover:

    =IF(D8+E8-F8>0,1,D8/F8)
