    Copy and Paste Question

I have 4 very long columns that I need to merge. There is no row that has a value in any two columns. How do I get all the values in Columns B, C, and D into Column A without eliminating any of the values that are already in Column A.

    Example:

    A B C D
    1 77
    2 45
    3 r5
    4 h4
    5 GG
    6 8
    7 16

    Re: Copy and Paste Question

I see that my example did not present as I had set it up. Not sure how to format my example. New Example: A1 "77" B2 "HH" C3 "3K" D4 "38" Again if there is a value in A1 there is no value in B1, C1 and D1. And if there is a value in D2 there is no value in A2, B2, and C2 and so on.

    Re: Copy and Paste Question

I would suggest that you use column E for your combined column, and you can use a formula like this in E1:

    =A1&B1&C1&D1

then just copy down as required.

You may want to fix the values in column E, and then you could delete columns A to D.

    Hope this helps.
