    Copy-Paste question

Hi, I have a seemingly easy question, that I'm struggling to word properly for the Google machine.
I want to simply copy-paste my Formula, but instead of automatically spanning rows, have it span columns instead. Let me explain by example... because that doesn't make much sense.

    A B C D E F G H
    Users Result Data 1 Data 2 Data 3 Data 4 Data 5 Data 6
User 1 =C$3 Foo Bar Hello World Dim Sum
User 2 =E$3 Foo Bar Hello World Dim Sum
User 3 =G$3 Foo Bar Hello World Dim Sum
User 4 Foo Bar Hello World Dim Sum
User 5 Foo Bar Hello World Dim Sum

Please ignore the lack off "accuracy" in the data and formulas... But I basically want to copy the change in Columns (in column B), down the rows. So the next user would see =I$3:I$8, then =K$3:K$8... so on.

Please forgive if this is ridiculously simple. Couldn't come up with a clever string to google to explain this.

    Thanks

    Re: Copy-Paste question

Not exactly. I'm doing a horrible job at explaining.

I have significant amount of rows that I want to reference to a different sheet that moves horizontally.
Here's the actual formula I'm using (it really isn't the formula itself I want to change).

Column A is a list of Users

    B2: =IFERROR(INDEX('Player Predictions'!D$3:D$84,MODE(MATCH('Player Predictions'!D$3:D$84,'Player Predictions'!D$3:D$84,0)+{0,0})),"")
    B3: =IFERROR(INDEX('Player Predictions'!G$3:G$84,MODE(MATCH('Player Predictions'!G$3:G$84,'Player Predictions'!G$3:G$84,0)+{0,0})),"")
    B4: =IFERROR(INDEX('Player Predictions'!J$3:J$84,MODE(MATCH('Player Predictions'!J$3:J$84,'Player Predictions'!J$3:J$84,0)+{0,0})),"")

I want to keep this pattern going down column B without having to manually change the reference columns. It goes D, G, J, (keep pattern from here) M, P, S, etc.
When I try to copy-paste the pattern it repeats it.

    Re: Copy-Paste question

Can you give me exact relation between User 1 to Data 1 .
I mean the actual data as per your table.
