Something like this?

What does your version do? I tried changing text or deleting text in E3 - nothing changed to borders.
Borders should be highlighted in a color ONLY when text in E3 matches any text entered in B3:B10. Otherwise borders should remain normal (no color, no lines etc)
Which borders?
My suggestion highlights borders in B3:B10 as you change your selection in E3.
Do you mean the big orange border on E3:H7? You want that border to only appear when E3 equals to any value in B3:B10?

That is correct, sorry for a confusion.
