    Unhappy Time Range

    Hello Everyone,

Good Evening. I have the following table.

Shift Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday
    14-May-18 15-May-18 16-May-18 17-May-18 18-May-18 19-May-18 20-May-18
    23:30 - 9:30 1 1 1 1 1 0 0
    1:00 - 11:00 2 2 2 3 3 1 1
    1:30 - 11:30 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
    2:00 - 12:00 0 0 0 0 0 1 1
    3:00 - 13:00 6 6 7 6 5 3 2
    3:30 - 13:30 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
    4:00 - 14:00 1 2 3 3 3 0 1
    5:00 - 15:00 6 6 6 4 4 0 0
    6:00 - 16:00 0 1 1 1 1 0 0
    7:00 - 17:00 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
    8:00 - 18:00 7 4 4 5 4 3 4
    9:00 - 19:00 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
    14:00 - 00:00 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
    16:00 - 2:00 3 3 2 2 3 3 3

The columns are for the total number of people rostered for a shift. What I want is if I select a time slot in it should give me the sum of people rostered.

Example: Slot (2 AM - 3 AM). This slot should have the sum of the first four shifts from the first column corresponding to Monday. So for Monday Slot (2 AM - 3 AM) total rostered should be (1+2+0+0=3).

I hope this is clear. I need a formula to do this. I have tried with IF function but that aint working. PLEASE HELP.

    Regards
    ROY

Your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Do not crosspost your question on multiple forums without including links here to the other threads on other forums.

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

Expect cross-posted questions without a link to be closed and a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us to help you!

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this, and then please edit your first post to include links to any and all cross-posts in any other forums (not just this site).

    Re: Time Range

    Hi All

Apologies for the mistake. This completely escaped my mind. I am replying again because the last reply didn't go through. I posted this in Mr. Excel and then here.

But I am removing the thread as no one would help me due to reposting. The same thing happened in the other blog.

    Apologies.

    Regards
    Roy
