Need to compare columns and satisfy a specific argument

    Hi all,

I have a very large spreadsheet (7000+ rows).

Column B contains various Customer Names that repeat (column name: CUSTNMBR)

Column K contains the Unit Price of each invoice (column name: UNITPRCE)

I need to know which customers show a unit price of $0.00 AND $10.00. (or $0.00 AND $12.00)

Can anyone help me come up with a formula or function to achieve this? What I need the formula to do is...single out those customers that have a unit price of 0.00 in at least one of the rows in Column K AND 10.00 in at least one of the rows in Column K.

(I am including a spreadsheet which contains sample data, hope this helps)

    THANKS SO MUCH in advance!

Your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Do not crosspost your question on multiple forums without including links here to the other threads on other forums.

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

Expect cross-posted questions without a link to be closed and a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us to help you!

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this, and then please edit your first post to include links to any and all cross-posts in any other forums (not just this site).

Please make sure to include the full link, so that other members will be permitted to continue helping you

Note that if you have fewer than 10 posts, you may need to type the link, or past it in pieces (or ask a mod to do that for you)

    Thanks for the link

How would you want matches displayed?

1 short-cut that comes to mind would to use filters

Re: Need to compare columns and satisfy a specific argument

    You're very welcome!

I think if the match result in a YES that would be great (NO for those customers that don't have 0.00 AND 10.00 in column K).

I tried using the filter for Unit Price. However, filtering for 0.00 and 10.00 will display all customers that have 0.00 OR 10.00 as their Unit Price. I need to know those customers (from column B) that have both 0.00 and 10.00 in the Unit Price column (column K)

I hope I am not being confusing.
