Lightbulb Need to Capture Current Date Time of Linked Workbook in a Report

I have created a tool that looks at work load within a facility. There are multiple facilities. Each facility has it's own copy of the work load tool that is specific to that facility. Each facility gets it's demand data by being linked to a secondary workbook with specific data for each particular facility.

I need the ability to look at the date and time stamps of the various [files] work tools and data workbooks in a summary tool. Is there a way to get directory data or a specific filename date and time stamp data for a specified directory tree path or filename and put it in a cell in a worksheet?

    Hi Teddytim,

Excel has an Add-In tool called Power Query that does what I think you want. Read this link for the example:

One test is worth a thousand opinions.
