Question HELP with IF, IFS statements or alternatives

    Hello there,

I put a spreadsheet together that gives me a projection of how much I could possibly make trading the financial markets. I have the initial capital, margin requirement, and other inputs such as phases of growth. What I'm looking to accomplish is this, I want to add 1 contract per % growth (set by the user).

I tried using the IF statement but found out that IFS is better. It works in google sheets but not when I download it to my computer and use Excel 2016 (apparently IFS does not work with my version). The issue I see is that the formula is not continuous and I have to keep adding more if statement. Is there a better way to do this?

Here is a screen shot of the sheet - prntscr.com/kkvini

I wanted to include the excel sheet but I'm not sure how. I clicked on the attachment icon but it does not do anything. Maybe I need more credentials?

    Any guidance is appreciated!

    Thanks
    Felipe

Will you please attach a sample Excel workbook? We are not able to work with or manipulate a picture of one and nobody wants to have to recreate your data from scratch.

Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment, so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

Re: HELP with IF, IFS statements or alternatives

I was doing some research and maybe using VLOOKUP would be better but then I would have to create a table with all the variables.

When I was using IFS, I was comparing value A with Value B, if it was smaller then it would give out Value C, if it's bigger until certain % it would give out Value C +1, etc.

Is there a way to do increment by 1 in excel?

    Thanks in Advance.
