I need some help creating buckets on hire dates. It's been a while since I've had to do this, and I'm trying to get back in the swing of things, and really needing some guidance. I've tried the LOOKUP and it's failing me, I seem to be missing something.
I've attached the file I'm working with for sample data. Can someone please help me out?
Here are the ranges I am needing:Bucket Ranges
Less than 30
31-60
61-90
91-120
120-365
366+

so are you looking to take today and subtract the hire date to see how many days the person has been there then total those by ranges?

here is your sheet attached. It uses formulas for either direction you anticipate going, used a helper column in col B where I used =today()-A2 dragged down.
everything else works off that, either counts by bucket ranges in col E or distributions based on the bucket ranges in col C, you have a couple #N/As because dates written are later than today.
