How to Generate an ID with Date?

Let's say my company completed 4 transactions today and I want to assign an ID to each transaction based on the transaction date, following by its serial number. The ID of the first transaction would be 20190224001 [<--- First 4 letters refer to the year, the next two refer to the month, the next to refer to the date, and the last 3 are meant for the transaction number, starting from the first to the last transaction]. The second one would be 20190224002; the third would be 20190224003; and the fourth would be 20190224004.

How do I automatically assign create them in Excel 2013 instead of having to manually type them each and every time?

If cell B1 is housing the number of completed transactions , the following formula should give the desired result.

Replace ";" with "," depending on your regional settings.
