Extract output text using input text, contact value and contact text

    Hello Friends

I have a huge vertical columns in a sheet, in that sheet

For the given input text (Column G) there will be one contact value (Column H), we need to filter and take the contact value (Column H).
By refilter and using the Contact Value (H) again need to take the Contact Texts (Column N) again need to refilter and need to take the
Output Text from (Column G also as Input Text Column) where Contact Text (Column N) have the text "JZHAC".

Also in 50% cases we need to input set of texts (JZHAC with other contact texts), Need some formula solution to do this.

Currently we are using Filter for this.

    thanks in advance

Given the specific sample file, the below would return the requisite values:

    Formula: copy to clipboard

it will also return the results in A-Z order which seems to be a requirement, albeit unstated.

However, the above will not be very efficient -- if you're using on "huge" datasets, as implied, you may find it better to use an intermediate helper to trivialise the calculation.

If that is indeed required, post back with an indicative sample size.

    Hello XLent

Thanks for your formula, which is working fine.

I have added the new excel sample file for increased criterias.

    thanks again

So, based on revised requirements and previous suggestion, whilst persisting with a single-cell approach (i.e. devoid of "helpers"), the below would be one approach:

    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

the above will replicate your expected results (inclusive of A-Z order)

note: if the Array is set correctly the above will appear encased within { } - these cannot be applied manually.
