What I am trying to achieve is one of these items enclosed in tags here be displayed in D3, I think it may be a drop down box or something. ??
I looking around on the net for clues but nothing helped.

Why bother displaying the selection in D3, if you are going to use code to refer to it. Just use a variable in the code to represent the selected cell value.
Then the myVal variable can be used anywhere in the code that you need to reference that cell value. The KISS principle, Keep It Short and Simple.Please Login or Register to view this content.

OK I think I will finish designing the sheet then ask for help if needed.

I have created a new worksheet and called it " New Working "
On the " Master Sheet " in " Cell E1 " I have the word " Wicen " which is one of the selections from the " Template Sheet ", in cells " E1 to E8 "
What I would like ( in Master sheet cell F1 ) is some form of instruction ( Some form of drop down box), to look at " Template sheet" cells "E1:E8" and select one of the items in
that block, then that item be displayed in the " Master sheet " " E1 "
