    Another time-to-decimal question

I have attached a file with an example.

I just need to transform an accumulated time format into a decimal.

The output is from a program at work.

I have previously used a formula that does not work on this example. I think because this is accumulated hours for a period and not a HH:MM question.

Basically, I need to have a formula to convert 25:30 into 25,5 (IOW 25 hours and 30 minutes).

    Try multiplying by 24.

    Try this:

    =--(LEFT(E4,FIND(":",E4)-1)+MINUTE(E4)/60)

Marked as solved - do you no longer need help with this? Which solution did you choose? Some feedback would be nice.

    Sorry if you felt ignored.

Multiplying for 24 was the solution I went with. I needed to submit the assignment to my boss ASAP, so took the ball and kept running with it.

That's fine, but it isn't the first time you have left help offered by me completely unacknowledged. Please remember that all the help you get here is for free: it's just common courtesy to thank those who've tried to help, even if their solution was not the one you used.
