    Conditional Formatting based on Cell color

    is it possible to conditional formate one cell based upon another cells color?

    No, not unless the cell that is "another cell" is also colored by conditional formatting.

    There is no built-in function in Excel that will tell you the fill color of a cell. However, this can be done with VBA. Can you give more details?
