    Calculating hh:mm between two dates

My current formula to calculate hh:mm between two dates is: =text(e12-d12,"hh:mm")

This seems to work well for when the dates of my values are the same calendar date (ie 31st - 31st July). But it does not seem to work when the dates of my values are different calendar dates (ie 2nd - 1st Aug).

See attached for example. For cell F12, the returned value is incorrect. It should be over ~36hrs.

    Try change to:

    =TEXT(E12-D12,"[hh]:mm")

Too easy, thank you. That worked a treat.
