Excel Formula - Automatic Date Calculation

    Good Afternoon,

As can be shown in the attachment, I've entered the word "MB" under Column 'D'. Under Column 'N' , there is already a formula set up =H338+30.

Is it possible to set up a formula, whereby when you enter a specific word, this will automatically generate a certain function

e.g if I type the word MB, this will automatically generate =H338+21 under Column N

    Thank you !

    Like this perhaps:

Note that you may need to change "," to ";" depending on your locale settings. Then change the 21, 30, 30 to be the number of days for MB, L and SUMO respectively.

    Thanks Wiseboy,

it's almost working perfectly , except if I put "L", than the formula is default to N/A

Then you'd need to attach a sheet so I could take a closer look.

Changed L to LE and it works now, that seemed to be the issue, one character was not enough

    Thanks
