Conditional formatting to provide colour coding for expiring dates

    Hi all,

I have a dates set in Excel.

    I need the following:

The expiry date is three years from the date in the cell. So for example, if the date reads 30/3/16 (it's expiry date is 30/3/19), that is out of date. If it reads 30/3/17 (it's expiry date is 30/3/20), that is in date.

I need my cells to show red if out of date, green if in date or orange if the expiry date is less than 90 days (3 months) away.

Is anyone able to help? I've now spent a number of hours trying to use multiple functions but I've failed

    Try conditional formatting the cells
