Well I thought this would be straightforward but it isn't. I want to use conditional formatting on a column with gradient type data bars that show different colors for ranges of cell numerical values from 0-1 (i.e. percent). E.g. a value of 0.1 has a bar 10% the width of the cell, up to 1 which the width of the entire cell. So far I have tried to use the format based on value minimum = 0 and maximum = 1 which as expected has bars proportional to the cell value. using 0-0.21 gets the same result but the bars are not proportional to the values. When I try to apply multiple rules for values of different ranges (e.g. 0-.2 is red, .2-.4, is yellow, etc.) I get bars for the first rule but not the second, as if I had only applied the first rule. I tried "stop if true" but the checkbox is disabled. The attached workbook is an example of what I am trying to do. The first column is a simple gradient bar using the range 0-1, the second 0.21-0.4, etc. The last column is ideally exactly what I want to see.
