    Calculation by Excel is wrong

Maybe somebody can figure this one out. I sure don"t know where the error is coming from.
Excel wants to add an extra penny on to the sum.
I have included the formulas for each cell to maybe help understand where the issue might be.

You probably need to show more decimal places in your calculations. Looks to me that the total is actually 266.316 which, at 2 decimal places, is 266.32.

If you want a more definitive answer, please observe the yellow banner at the top of the page and post a sample workbook.

    138.694

    188.694
    58.03
    19.592
    266.316

Re: Calculation by Excel is wrong

    Hi, Excel is right
Value in row 27 is not 138,69 but 138,694, and CPP value is not 58,03 but 58,032269... and EI is not 19,59 but 19,592.
So your sum is not 266,31 but 266,318692307692 which rounds to 266,32.
To avoid having this differences you can round each value you calculate, but i don know which approach is better

    Hi Dan,

You can set "Precision as Displayed" in Excel that will correct your problem.

The "error" isn't really an error but a display thing. You are only displaying to the penny but when adding stuff it rounds up.

    Hope this helps.

    In fact,...

    138.6940000000

    50.0000000000
    188.6940000000
    58.0326923077
    19.5920000000
    266.3186923077

The formula you quoted for CPP should be:
