Hi All,
I am trying to create a match making tool in Excel and need a little help on how to do it.
From the example below, Is there a way to match Simone automatically to the contacts based on a weighted rank?
Any help would be much appreciated!

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook. The workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"
Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

FDibbins Thanks for the instructions. I have attached a sample set of data.
Thanks for the file. However, not really sure what your expected outcome would look like - could you show some sample answers please?
I have attached an updated file with sample results. Essentially i want to score each match somehow.
In the example I have scored it based only on which company types they want to meet, but i'm not sure how to incorporate the topic score into this as well.
Hope it all makes sense and thanks for all the help

Thanks for this! Is there somehow a way to incorporate the Topic of interest rating in the score as well?
E.g. From the example in the file, Martin would like to meet with Simon or Pete but his main interest is Topic C whereas for Simon and Pete that is the topic they are least interested in.
Is this possible anddo we have to re-arrange the data to achive this?
Thanks so much
