How to use checkbox true and false formulas.

I want to have when I mark a checkbox to do one thing(true) and unmarked to do another thing (false).
    Sample added with explanation.
I tried the IFS statement but that was out there for me. I am not the best at this and I appreciate the help I have been getting to learn it.

    Hi there,

Does entering the following formula in cell L3 do what you want:

    =IF(V5 = FALSE, I3, 8)

Hope this helps - please let me know how you get on.

    Regards,

    Greg M
