Have in place functioning Conditional Format for Column C (thanks to this site).
Need to Conditionally Format in column D if cell on same row in C was Conditionally formatted
but have no idea on how to go about causing D9 & D13 to also be highlighted.

The attachment is of no use - it is full of errors, as the formulae seem to refer to a named range that isn't there.

Sheet: Sheet1
Change the CF rule for D9 to this:
=$B9<$D$6
Change the Applies To range to this:
=$B9<$D$6

Thank you – but – I failed to include any blank rows in my post which I now know changes the problem. Blank rows – occur in my situation because I am pasting a report, which varies in length from day to day, into a virgin of what I uploaded. Having discovered that the blank rows will be highlighted (after I posted what you responded to) I had to change the CF rule to =AND(D9<>"",D9<$D$6) and that is what should have been in my upload.
Question – Since this causes new problems should I mark this as solved and post with the problem more properly defined?

While I rcvd a solution to my question of how do I make it so blank rows are not highlighted as "less than ..." in the post mentioned above, in this post (one we are in right now) I ask how to highlight the cells in D if they were highlighted in B, but that was not answered.
And, because the rule changed I believe a new post is the only solution.
As I see it, my post will be pretty much the same as this - but with AND(D8<>"",D8<$D$6)
as the rule. I planned on the workbook with a couple of jpgs
Just use the same rule as you used for col B
Thanks - but - when I tried to do a new (additional) rule I could not figure of out a way to get an "Applies To" data box to enter D9:D14

There is no additional rule in the attachment, so ...
Anyway, once you have set up the rule and saved it, just go to Manage Rules and you can add the Applies To range there.
I did what I thought you said except I tried to limit the highlighting to just column D.
However - D returns the date, not the dollar amount

For some reason you have messed with the formatting via the CF rule and set it to date. I have changed it back to number and I have amended the applies to range to start at D9.
