    Creating Monthly Accounting Schedule

    Hello!

Wondering if anyone has a template for this. Basically I am trying to automate a monthly schedule based on start and end dates.

ie: if the expense date is 1/1/20 - 2/15/20, I would need one full month of expense in January, 15 days of expense in February and $0 of expense in March.

    Thank you friends !!

Get rid of your blank rows between data. They will just make your formulas more complicated.

    Hello ChemistB,

There appears to be some formula busts at the ends of row 10 and 18? Do you have any clue on this?

I'm not sure what you're talking about. What are the issues in row 10 and 18? What are you expecting in P10 and P18 for example?

So in cell I10, I would expect $244.13 (as the end date is 5/2/2020, there should be only two days of expense). $3,867.49/31*2
Similarly in cell N18, I would expect $411.29 (as the end date is 10/5/2020, there should be only 5 days of expense). $2,550.00/31*5

Sorry, didn't take into account the year in some of these calculations. Try this in E5

I know that leasing calculation could be a big headache.
Here is my formula for E5

The result could be more accurate if daily rental rates were provided.
