Dragging a formula but skipping columns

    Hi All,

I've found similar posts to this but couldn't get anything to work for me, so hoping someone can help!

I've attached a workbook and have made the data unrealistic so as to protect privacy etc. What I can't figure out is how, in sheet 1, I count all of the Ws (from Sheet 2) for Client 1 and then drag the formula down for the other clients and it skips the columns I don't need the data from.

Hopefully that makes some sense? Would really appreciate the help!

    Thanks in advance!

Wow that works a treat, thank you!

Is there a way to make it return the $ fields too? I can't seem to do that now?!

    If I understood correctly,
    In F3 and drag down
    Formula: copy to clipboard

OK thanks that works for P but not C!

I must admit this formula is far and away the most complex thing I've done so I'm sorry if that's a really easy fix!

    Use in G3
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Or a formula to F3 and G3, Use in F3 and drag down and forward

For some reason in my real-world spreadsheet it was doubling the values, so I just added /2 at the end and it worked! Thanks so much for your help, you've saved me a ton of time!

    Really appreciate it!

Re: Dragging a formula but skipping columns

I'm so sorry, I need one more help with the formula!

I need to be able to collate all of the previous info into one area for each client. Per the attached, I need F4 to add up the Ws and Ls from Sheet 2 for each year, and then drag it down to pick up all of the other years. G3 I need it to pick up the Ls, and then H4 and I4 to pick up P and C from Sheet 2. I've tried messing with the previous formulas but again I can't make it work!

This is definitely the last one, thanks!
