conditional formatting different formulas in 1 row

    Hi There,

I am trying to build a calendar in Excel that is dynamic. Depending on the month that is chosen, I would need a certain color to show. I am able to use the conditional formatting to get the "go live" (= month chosen) to show in the right color, but I would need the 3 months before and after to have different colors. I need this to be dynamic, so if I change the chosen month, the colors will change as well.
    It should look like this:
    p.ex. Chosen month = May
March (light green) April (light green) May (dark green) June (orange) July (orange)

Can somebody help me with that?

    THANKS!

Not sure how your sheet is set up but with the months in A1:L1 and the chosen month in N2 and down

Re: conditional formatting different formulas in 1 row

    Hi

Thank you so much for your quick reply! However, I still can't seem to make it work for my case ...
    My months are F4:U4
Chosen months are in C8 and down

To make it even more difficult, some months will need 5 cells to be orange, some only 2 so I can't use the same formula for my entire table I'm afraid ...

Re: conditional formatting different formulas in 1 row

You need to attach your workbook as described in the yellow banner at the top of the page.
Are there specific criteria (i.e. certain months) which dictate whether it's 5 cells orange or 2 cells orange or is it just specific ranges (i.e. Range F8:U20 = 2 cells orange, Range F21:U40 = 5 cells orange)?
