    Display Time Only if Less Than 11:59AM

    Hello guys,

    I'd like a cell to display the actual time only if this time is > than 11:59...

    If it's before 11:59 AM the cell should display 11:59 AM

    On CELL B9 I have a formula (NOW) that shows the actual time

    My formula is: =IF[(B9<0,49336; B11=0,49336; NOW()] but it's not working...

    I used the number to indicate the time and after i would change the format cell...

    Thanks for your help

    I suspect it's not working because B9 also contains the date data.

    There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

    Use this in B9:

    =MOD(NOW(),1)

    format as hh:mm

    then this formula:

    =IF(B9<0.5,0.499306,B9)

    in Italy, you may need to use ; instead of ,

    alternative you can use this in B9

    =MIN(MOD(NOW(),1),"11:59")

    or with B9=MOD(NOW(),1), in another cell:

    =MIN(B9,"11:59")
