conditional formatting based on text color

Hi, complete excel newbie here

I'm trying to work out a way for certain confirmed vs unconfirmed dates in a large spreadsheet to standout.

If the text in a cell eg F1 is red then I need the text in G1, H1, I1 and J1 to also be in red.
If the text in cell F1 is black then I need the text in n G1, H1, I1 and J1 to also be in black

is that possible?

There is no trigger event on a format change, however this code might help you achieve what you want.

It will sort out your font colours as per the request if you click in column F, after you've changed your font colour.
