    Formatting cells shows wrong

i download json file and convert it as .csv. then i open it in excel but some cells show wrong values. In pic 1 all text shows right but when i open in excel it mess up, i tried change the formatting in cells but it doesnt work. In the blue area its a mess. It should be different hockey/football results, not date format.

Excel assumes data such as 1-1, 2-10 are dates.

Try preformatting the column (M) as text.

    Re: Formatting cells shows wrong

Instead of opening the CSV file directly, import the file using Data > From Text.

In the last dialog box, select the column with the unintended "date" data (column M?), select Text for the "Column data format", then click Finish.

PS.... No, it is not the spaces in the file. John was correct: it is the form of the data, which Excel interprets as a date shorthand. But it does not help to format cells as Text even before importing the file, much less opening it directly.
