summing across multiple worksheets based on category

I have 3 worksheets and in these worksheets there are multiple rows that I have categorized as such:

Equipment
Education
Fees

Each of these rows have an associated dollar amount, all unique numbers.
on a 4th worksheet I want to reference all same categories together and sum the totals across the 3 worksheets.

So on that 4th worksheet my result would be something like this:

Equipment $45439.12
Education $ 2700.01
Fees $ 850.00

Could you do a SUMIFS formula?

Example:
Sheet1 - Column B = Price and Column A = Category
Sheet2 - Column C = Price and Column D = Category
Sheet3 - Column B = Price and Column A = Category
Summary Worksheet Cell A4=Equipment, A5= Education, and A6=Fees

In Summary Worksheet Cell B4 =SUMIFS(Sheet1!B:B,Sheet1!A:A,A4)+SUMIFS(Sheet2!C:C,Sheet2!D:D,A4)+SUMIFS(Sheet3!B:B,Sheet3!A:A,A4)

Here is an example of one worksheet. Notice I have multiple rows of the same subcategory. This occurs on 2 other worksheets. I want to group together all "fees" dollar amounts ie, onto the new worksheet as a sum total.
