Countif for two conditions

How do you use Countif () to check for 2 conditions rather than 1?


what I have
=COUNTIF(Closed!F:F,A3)


What I want
=COUNTIF( (Closed!F:F,A3) AND (Condition2) )

Is this really AND, or should it be OR? Is the condition in the same range or a different range?

In that case, you need COUNTIFS:
