I had a MAXIFS function that I was able to make it work previously, but since a change that I've done in other cells, this MAXIFS function isn't working anymore.
Please check the attachment. Can someone help me understand why it's not working anymore? Thanks

It's because the values in col D are text usewhich will convert the value to a numberFormula:

Try this instead:
=MAX((SUBSCRIPTIONS!$D$2:$D$61)*(SUBSCRIPTIONS!$A$2:$A$61=CLIENTS!A3)*(SUBSCRIPTIONS!$B$2:$B$61="Billed"))
