How to handle he SPILL error

    Hi
I have a work book that contains 2 sheets
sheet1 has the result of the students excel table name = RESULT
sheet2. has the list of the students excel table name = STUDENT

I want to list the student ID using Filter formula when the value in Sheet1!E1 is true.

it gives me spill error because I have some values from A7 to A10 and I can not delete A7-A10
so is there any way I can avoid this SPILL error and have the list of students in my RESULT table

YOu can't use dynamic array functions in tables, I'm afraid.

You have two problems. The first is that there are more entries matching DET than will fit in the Table (especially without moving A7:A10). And second, more critical, you cannot use a formula that will SPILL in a Structured Table. You would need to convert the Structured Table to a normal range. That's because Structured Tables automatically replicate formula down . . . and it cannot do that if the formula spills.
