Hi,
I would like to do a check for hundreds of phone numbers.
In column A, I have a short internal numbers and in column B, I have the full external numbers.
Each short number contain the last 3 digits the last 3 digits of the full number.
Any idea on how to proceed?

if 3 digit number is in cell A1 and long phone number is in cell B1 then in C1 try:

this will return TRUE or FALSE if the last 3 digits of the long phone number match the content in the adjacent cell in column A

thanks a lot for the very fast answer. Unfortunately, I have an error with this formula. It says #NOM? which you can translate to #NAME? in English. I am working on a French version.
