Would really appeciate some help on this...
I think I need an INDEX MATCH formula with multiple criteria to return multiple results (listed). My data is formatted in a matrix, whereby tasks listed in Column B, exams listed in row 3 and then an "x" in the corresponding cell (range C4:E13) that determines if a tasks is allocated to an exam.
I have attached an example workbook, which includes the expected results.

I would suggest something instead of INDEX-MATCH for this. INDEX-AGGREGATE is what I would use.Formula:

Apologies but i missed another general criteria... the formula needs to be dynamic in that it uses the Exam type (i.e. G3 "Exam 1") as the lookup reference. This is due to the actual data set having 1000's of tasks and exam types and I would like to pull the listed results for maybe 1 exam type at a time... possibly eventually from a data validation list of all exam types to allow me to view each exam independantly from a dynamic list lookup
