How to use /identify the most recent data in a excel spreadsheet?
Hello friends,
I have a dataset that receives updated projections for the upcoming months, the problem is that I can't figure out a way to create a summary only using the last submission.
We have multiple offices and I may have more than one submission for each office in a given month. I want to use only the most recent submission.
I attached a data sample.

Many ways to do this.
One of the simplest is to add two columns:
Col I to convert the date into a useable format
Cell I2:Formula:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
Col J to identify if it's the most recent.
Cell J2, enterand copy down. You can then add a filter to this column to only show TRUEFormula:Please Login or Register to view this content.
Note these formulas may not work if you are using an older version of excel
