    Question Sequences as part of tables

    Hello,
    I have a sequence of dates (see formula below) in column A and two "sumif" formulas in B and C. I wanted to create a table so that every time that the sequence is updated (a day is added automatically every day), the formula in B & C is calculated for the new row. However, when I try to format my data as a table, I get a #SPILL! error message.

    Are sequences just not compatible with tables or am I doing somthing wrong? Is there a workaround to achieve my desired outcome?

    Sequence formula
    =SEQUENCE(TODAY()-EOMONTH(TODAY(),-MONTH(TODAY())),1,EOMONTH(TODAY(),-MONTH(TODAY()))+1,1)

    You cannot use spill ranges in tables.

    No, you are not doing anything wrong, other than trying to put a formula that spills into a Structured Table. No, they are not compatible. Structured Tables are designed to automatically propagate any formula that is entered into the column. The Sequence function also wants to propagate down and the Table has already filled the gaps.

    You may be able to get away without the Structured Table and just use AutoFilter … maybe with other formulae that spill their results.
