Highlighting Matches (Dups) , CountIf inside Conditional Formating w/ Formula

    Hey all,

Trying to figure out why my rule within conditional formatting is not matching exact. ID "000034" is highlighted in Column B, but is not in Column A. It is, however, contained within and ID of a cell. How do I achieve EXACT match? Using Excel Office 365 on iMac. Happens on my PC as well. Here is a link to my sample file: COUNTIF.xlsx

Select B2:B13 and use the formula
    Formula: copy to clipboard

This doesn't work either. I used a greater than '0' in mine and neither way works.

I don't understand why that is happening. Use:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Either way should work. If I check in a cell, it counts 1 even though there are several cells which contain that ID.

These all contain the ID 000034, but yet the count is 1, even though it should be 0.
