    Question Matching sales and receipt.

    Hi,

I have a receipt and sales amount with name in 2 different sheets. I have to match the receipt with sales based on conditions. (1) Sales happened today, I will receive the amount within 10days (2) return the result matching sales and receipt with party name of sales in excel.

I have used the formula =IFERROR(XLOOKUP(1, (Receipts!A2=Sales!$A$2:$A$7)*(Receipts!C2=Sales!$C$2:$C$7)*IF(ISBLANK(Sales!$A$2:$A$7), TRUE, Sales!$A$2:$A$7>=D2), Sales!$B$2:$B$7, "No match"), "No match")

but always, the results return No match as I'm unable to accomodate the 10 days condition.

Sample file attached. Using office 365. Thanks in advance.

P.S. It is within. Hence, can be received even on say 4th or 7th day too!

    Re: Matching sales and receipt.

We might be better able to help if you could tell us the expected results for cells E2:E4 instead of the unwanted results that are being returned by the formula.
Also, unless it is obvious why those results are expected then please include an explanation for each.
