Hello everyone, I am trying to figure out how to purchase a product from the closest location with inventory. Does anyone know a formula that I could use to figure this out?
Thank you!

This file probably does a better job defining the origin and destination.
Once again, which version of Excel are you using? Please don't ignore anybody in your thread. Thanks.
2016, 64bit
Thanks for the rep comment in which you say that the solution works.
Please update your forum profile to the CORRECT version of Excel (365).
If that takes care of your original question, please choose Thread Tools from the menu link above and mark this thread as SOLVED.
My solution will not work for you, then - why have you said that it works in the rep comment???2016, 64bit
You're right! Oddly enough it worked in the example file but it will not work with the data set that I am working with.
I am currently getting a #CALC! error. (empty array)
Then it WILL work, but there is something about the real dataset that is different.
Provide a sample workbook that shows the error (desensetise it).
OK here you go.
Not surprising - you haven't adapted any of the ranges to suit the real data!

Issues:
1. No location 11418 in the DBL sheet.
2. Row 9 - there will be multiple matches - what do you want to do in these cases?
3. Row 25 - no other location with that product.
