Why am I getting different results when using the BINOM.DIST function? BINOM.DIST (8,12,0.8,FALSE) = 0.1329 but BINOM.DIST(24,36,0.8,FALSE) = 0.02421 and BINOM.DIST(16,24,0.8,FALSE) = 0.0530. The results should be the same because 8/12 = 24/36 = 16/24 = 0.6667. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
My mistake, BINOM.DIST is correct. As n increases, the probability of having EXACTLY x decreases.

Also BINOM.DIST(5,10,0.5,FALSE) = 0.2461 and BINOM.DIST(50,100,0.5,FALSE) = 0.0796.
So the obviou conclusion is that the result isn't related to this proposed proportion.
I would say that the bell curve suffer a distortion as you increase the number of attempts.
