Barcode functions

Good afternoon,

I have created a form in excel that we use and i added the FREE 3OF9 barcode font to it to represent certain fields from the form (part number, UOM, desription, etc.)

we use a USB scan gun to scan these bar codes into another program to create shippers ....... saves a lot of time typing all the information in.

What i am trying to do is figure out if there is a way to setup a bar code that acts as a TAB function, ENTER function, left or right arrow function, etc.

Are you wanting to use the TAB key, or ENTER key, or left / right key to replace the scan gun ?

I am trying to create barcodes that do all of them. I just don't know if it is even possible.
