    Fishing Club Sheet Formula help Index

    Hi there Excel experts,

    Beginner here again trying to make a sheet for our fishing club and i just keep adding to it Sorry..

    I have most of it working, but have added 2 new tabs to enter the fish captures in a single column instead of jumping between species.

    What id like to do is enter the angler #, Species and Length into the tabs Saturday and Sunday, and have them transfer over to the SatFig and SunFig Tabs.

    Results etc are all calculated from the SatFig and SunFig so nothing changes there. But if possible it would be great if the SatFig and SunFig columns auto sort into largest to smallest for each species as well?

    RUN button on "Saturday" sheet as I don't know how you would activate macro: it could invoked every time an entry is made in "Saturday" or"Sunday"

    Excel 2021 and 365 have a SORT function.

    thanks John, The macro stuff is way beyond me and I'm completely lost there?

    The formula is what i want, and I've got it working, but its bringing the name up in the angler part on the SatFig!, and id like it to keep the angler number at this point, and i just cant work out which part of formula to change to get # not name
